As part of a campus-wide All-Labor Rally, CFA President Harriet Murav will debunk the myth that the University of Illinois is “too broke” to meet its financial obligations to its employees. Other speakers will include representatives from AFSCME, who will report on how campus clerical workers and support staff fare in their contract negotiations with the Administration; and the SEIU, on what campus workers can do to resolve the present crisis. Members of the Graduate Employees Organization will officiate. After the rally, participants will march to the Henry Administration Building.
