SUAA Calls for Plaintiffs

The State University Annuitants Association (www.suaa.org) is looking for plaintiffs in the lawsuit about Senate Bill 1 (PA 98-0599), the recent pension change signed by Gov. Quinn. Beginning next week, their attorneys would like to begin contacting SURS eligible retirees and current employees who are residents of Champaign County. Among the classes, they are interested in currently employed professors and administrators and “retired University presidents” and retired faculty.  Consider joining this important suit!  If you are interested, please contact SUAA Executive Director Linda L.
