Know your Rights

Informational flyer titled 'Know Your Rights' for international workers at UIUC, detailing rights when approached by immigration agents and the importance of union activity.

4/26 annoucement

Immigrant-serving organizations are preparing for a possible significant ICE presence arriving in Champaign and Urbana. We do not know who will be targeted, and it is unlikely ICE will be on campus. However, it is important that we and our loved ones are prepared and know where to direct community members who may be at risk.

Important information to note:

  • If you see ICE anywhere in the community, call the Champaign Urbana Rapid Response Coalition right away at 779-235-0262.
  • If you are detained or need other legal support related to ICE targeting and are a CFA member, call the AFT Emergency Immigration Hotline number at 888-416-2110. Please note this resource is for urgent situations and CFA members only; it is not intended for students or non-members.
