Why Join CFA

Joining the Campus Faculty Association demonstrates your support for an independent faculty voice at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.

CFA is a democratic organization run by and for its members. Members vote in officer elections, select and plan upcoming events, and guide the CFA’s focus and activities.

Check the News section of our website to see what CFA has been working on recently.

Membership dues pay for the CFA’s administrative costs, which include: an office space at the University YMCA; printing, IT, and other communication costs; and a part-time staff organizer. Dues also fund CFA-sponsored lectures, events, and gatherings.

Joining CFA would also allow us to continue to support our students and their social justice work, broadly defined, through our annual undergraduate scholarship program.
