We are delighted to launch our new look website by posting our report: GROWTH IN THE NUMBER OF DEANS AND IN DECANAL SALARIES AT UIUC, 2005/06-2011/12. The report reveals how money and jobs are flowing to the top at U of I. Our document has revealed among other things that::
1) The average decanal salary has increased substantially: from $103,289 in 2005/06 to $114,132 in 2011/12.
2) The number of people holding decanal positions has increased by 9% 2005/06-2011/12. During the same time period tenure-track faculty lines shrank from 2,045 to 1,871—that is, by 8.5%.
