The CFA is an absolutely essential tool in ensuring that faculty have a clear and effective voice in the development of the University of Illinois as an institution of higher learning. A union contract will allow us to have a collective and democratic voice, not only to ensure fair and equitable working conditions for faculty across the campus, but in major policy decisions that directly impact educational policy and practices.
